• selecting a window and a place for its installation - recommended 90-120 cm from the floor;

• marking and cutting out a hole for installing attic windows - the dimensions should be 2-6 cm higher and wider than the installation dimensions of the window;
• preparing the rafter system if necessary - in this case, additional vertical or horizontal bars are installed;
• installing a window frame - special mounting corners are used in the process;
• creating heat and waterproofing - installing windows with thermal insulation involves the use of polyurethane foam around the perimeter of the object;
• sealing the window opening and restoring the roof covering.

Next, the window sashes are installed in the pitched roof and the interior finishing is done. The craftsmen make slopes, insulate them, and do the finishing. This completes the installation of the skylight.

The installation of a glass roof of these types allows for excellent air circulation, creating natural lighting. The installation of such a roof significantly reduces the load on the foundation of the building. However, preliminary design of the supporting frame is required during construction.
