Next, you should prepare the base. If the roof has an angle of inclination of 16-25 degrees, then the base is formed by a solid format of boards or OSB boards. If the angle of inclination is more than 25 degrees, it is necessary to make a sheathing, where the distance between its elements is determined by the indicator of the angle of inclination itself:

• up to 35 ° - 50 mm;
• up to 45 ° - 100 mm;
• up to 70 ° - 200 mm;
• up to 90 ° - 300 mm.

• Formation of the counter-batten. It is needed for ventilation under the click-fold to prevent moisture and condensation. It is made of wooden bars at least 50 cm long.
• Protection of the under-roof space. Thanks to it, dust and debris will not fly under the standing seam during operation. For this, the ventilation gap is closed with a special element.
• Insulation. The type of material is selected in accordance with the climatic conditions of the region. Often, high-quality and durable standing seam roofing is supplemented with mineral wool with a thickness of 50 to 100 mm. It is laid between the rafters, covered with a vapor barrier.
• Installation of the click-fold. The tools used are metal shears, beveled pliers, a mallet and a device for bending the cornice. Installation is carried out on the lathing using self-tapping screws with a press washer
